Tour Overview

Kaziranga National Park, a UNESCO World Heritage Site on the banks of the Brahmaputra, is home to two-thirds of the world's great one-horned rhinos. This 4-day package puts you deep in the tall elephant grass at dawn for the region's finest wildlife safaris.

Beyond rhinos, Kaziranga shelters wild elephants, swamp deer, water buffalo and one of India's densest tiger populations. With expert naturalists, comfortable forest-edge stays and both jeep and elephant-back safaris, this is Assam's classic wildlife escape.

  • Two-thirds of the world's one-horned rhinos
  • Morning elephant-back safari through the grasslands
  • Jeep safaris across Central & Western ranges
  • Chance to spot wild elephants, swamp deer & tigers
  • Sunset over the Brahmaputra river
  • Traditional Assamese cuisine and tea-garden visit

Frequently Asked Questions

Kaziranga National Park is open roughly from November to April. This is the best time for jeep and elephant safaris, when the grass is shorter and one-horned rhinos, elephants and tigers are easier to spot.

Our 4-day Kaziranga tour package includes one morning elephant-back safari and two jeep safaris across the Central and Western ranges, all with park fees and a naturalist guide.

Kaziranga is about a 5-hour drive from Guwahati (GAU) airport. We arrange all private transfers, and can book your flights into Guwahati as well.

Kaziranga is home to roughly two-thirds of the world's one-horned rhinos, so sightings are very common on almost every safari, especially at dawn.
